We’re thrilled to announce that the 2026 LDB Ice Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026! As Lac du Bonnet’s largest funding contributor and one of Manitoba’s premier charitable ice fishing derbies, we’re expecting an even bigger event with more participants, broader marketing, and more anglers than ever before.
To date, we’ve supported over 100 community projects and reinvested $274,624 into Lac du Bonnet and surrounding areas through donations to non-profit organizations. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors like you, in 2025 we aim to reinvest over $25,585 into the community through grants, volunteer hours, and bursaries. On February 22, 2025, we had 1,394 anglers competing for over $70,000 in cash and prizes, and your sponsorship will help us amplify our impact even further in 2026.
Your contributions—whether cash, merchandise, or in-kind donations—help cover event operating costs and enable us to continue giving back to the community. We offer flexible Sponsorship Packages designed to showcase your business to over 1,200 attendees on Derby Day and thousands more through our marketing efforts.
