JOIN OUR TEAM AND MAKE AN IMPACT ON OUR COMMUNITY

YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

You don't need to be a master angler to join our team; you don't even need any fishing skills. If you are a dedicated individual who wants to see the Community of Lac du Bonnet continue to thrive and develop, you are the perfect fit for our team. The Derby has become an integral part of our community, and we want to ensure that the event, and the funding we provide, can continue for years to come. We are currently looking for people to join our team as a Community Committee Member or a Board Member to ensure the sustainability of the Derby.

TWO WAYS TO JOIN:

BECOME A COMMITTEE MEMBER WITH NO BOARD RESPONSIBILITIES

or

BECOME A BOARD MEMBER FOR A FULL VOTE AT THE PLANNING TABLE.

  2. Attend meetings as often as possible - approximately 10 per year

  3. Prepare for meetings by reading agendas, minutes, reports and other documentation required to participate in them actively.

  4. Participate at the event by filling CVO Workforce Hours, where your preferred non-profit organization will get paid for the hours you've worked.

Approximate monthly time commitment: 2 to 3 hours, depending on how involved you get in the process.
