LDB ICE HISTORY
We are Lac du Bonnet’s largest funding contributor and one of Manitoba’s largest charitable ice fishing derbies. We re-invest profits into Lac du Bonnet and surrounding areas. In 2024, with support from participants, sponsors and volunteers, we reinvested over $24,269 back into the community through Community Volunteer Organization hours ($12,269), Grants ($10,000) & Bursaries ($2,000).
In 2024; we registered 1,000 Adults & 247 Youth tickets
An additional 190 - 2nd Holes tickets were purchased
In total, 1,247 Anglers fished 1,437 holes
LdB Ice has been operated by a community committee since 2008
LdB Ice was incorporated on December 10th, 2009
Our 15th Anniversary was celebrated in 2023;16th Annual in 2024 (No Derby in 2021 & 2022 due to pandemic)
